With FABTECH Mexico just a week away, team members from Mate are beginning to pack their bags and reach for their passports in anticipation for one of the most important tradeshows of the year. With the Mexican economy in excess of $1 trillion and growing thanks in large part to increased manufacturing activity, the need for more efficient and cost-effective ways to punch, bend and cut sheet metal will be top-of-mind for many of the more than 13,000 people expected to be in attendance.

For those who will be walking the floor of the Centro Banamex, and those with operations in Mexico and South America who can’t be there in person, we wanted to share what you’ll find in our booth and why we’re the right choice for your sheet metal fabrication needs.

Mate Has Grown Along with FABTECH Mexico

Mate has exhibited at FABTECH Mexico for a number of years. The importance of this market – and our commitment to it – is reflected in our expanded presence at the event. What started from a small booth has grown to feature a 20ft x 20ft exhibit staffed by a full team from Mate. You can find us at booth number 2723, where we’re featuring a number of our most popular products, along with some new innovations. Where we’ve always taken the most pride, though, is the knowledge of our staff.

This year, along with three regional sales engineers who all have firsthand shop experience, we’ll have an application specialist on hand to answer any specific operations or tooling questions you may have. If there is a problem you’re looking to solve, or you just want a second opinion on an idea you’re kicking around, they’ll be ready and willing to talk.
